Book Review: Dispensationalism and the History of Redemption by Bingham and Kreider

Book Review: Dispensationalism and the History of Redemption by Bingham and Kreider

Dispensationalism and the History of Redemption is great addition to a wide selection of dispensational resources from the faculty of Dallas Theological Seminary. Many years ago DTS was known for their teaching on Dispensationalism through the works of Ryrie, Pentecost, and Walvoord. This book cements their legacy with a new group of theologians carrying their torch. While I do not thin that this book will change covenant theologians’ minds, it is a useful asset to those who simply want to verbalize what they believe in a modern context. What Dispensationalism by Ryrie was for his time, so is Dispensationalism and the History of Redemption for the modern time. Bingham and Kreider gather an intelligent and helpful team of dispensationalists to take this somewhat rustic system of doctrine and bring it to 2017. This is a helpful and encouraging read for dispensationalists today.
